Mary Westervelt

Director of Marketing

Mary Westervelt

As the Director of Marketing, Mary Westervelt is responsible for all advertising campaigns, strategic partnerships, and brand management. She works closely with all areas of the CAIA Association and considers this one of the highlights of her position.

Mary has been with the CAIA Association since its inception in 2002, when she was a member of the operational team that organized and launched the first exam in February 2003. Following a sabbatical in South America in 2004, she returned to the CAIA Association full time, assuming responsibility for marketing the CAIA charter program.

She earned a BA in Anthropology from the College of William and Mary in 2001 and is an alumna of Schneeweis Partners and Abacus Technology.


Associate Director of Marketing

Nina Berman

As the Associate Director of Marketing, Nina Berman is responsible for managing marketing initiatives and ensuring brand consistency and strategic alignment in coordination with the Director of Marketing.

Prior to joining the CAIA Association, Nina ran her own marketing and public relations business. She was drawn to the CAIA Association for its entrepreneurial spirit and the excitement with which everyone works toward the organization’s mission. She has extensive experience in marketing and communications, having worked in her chosen field at Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, Monarch Life Insurance Company, and Syracuse University. Nina earned a BS in journalism from Syracuse University.
