CAIA member and respected managed futures researcher addresses Toronto audience.

CAIA member and regular AllAboutAlpha.com columnist Dr. Ranjan Bhaduri spoke in Toronto on Tuesday to a room full of CAIA and CFA members. He covered managed accounts and managed futures – both near his heart as head of research at Chicago-based Alphametrix. Bhaduri, a Canadian who cut his teeth in the Toronto hedge fund community, based many of his comments on a speech delivered over 25 years ago to a similar audience of Canadians by John Lintner. As Bhaduri also wrote in this AllAboutApha.com article, Lintner was an early advocate of the diversification properties of managed futures.
