CAIA Canada has seen explosive growth since its inception three years ago in line with the remarkable progress in membership seen in the CAIA Association around the world. CAIA Canada supports members’ and candidates’ educational and professional development through numerous alternative investment-themed events and presentations. Events are varied and cover private equity, private real estate, hedge funds and other alternative investments topics. CAIA Canada members represent all areas of investment management including: portfolio managers, pension consultants, plan sponsor investment staff, product managers, custody and administration professionals, investment advisors and actuaries. Chapter events take place in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. For 2010, expect stimulating social meetings and insightful conferences meant to help you interface with the alternative investments profession and keep your skills current and sharp. We invite your comments and ideas - this is your association and we will strive to bring you valuable tools and activities. We look forward to meeting all members and candidates and connecting with others who want to know more about what the CAIA Charter and our chapter can do for them.

CAIA members residing in Canada comprise the membership of the chapter. Other members are welcome to join the chapter by adjusting the settings on the CAIA profile.
