Alexander Lee is an Investment Officer for the Los Angeles Water and Power Employees’ Retirement Plan (WPERP) where he is responsible for the Plan’s private equity mandate. Prior to joining WPERP, Mr. Lee was a Portfolio Manager for Private Equity and Real Assets at Christus Health, a Catholic, not-for-profit health system based in Irving, Texas.
Mr. Lee has over twenty years of experience in the investment management industry in both public and private markets. He started his career in Southeast Asia trading public equities and fixed income. Mr. Lee holds a MSc in Risk and Asset Management from EDHEC Business School and a BS in Biology and Chemistry from Houston Baptist University. Mr. Lee is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). When not donning his business attire, Mr. Lee enjoys the great outdoors with activities such as overlanding, mountain biking, and backpacking.
