Bruce Li has been actively involved in the founding chapter activities in China. He has 25 years of investment and management experience across the United States and China, covering the areas of asset management, private equity, and hedge fund. He is currently a partner at Yin Yue Investment, a boutique investment firm in mainland China, specializing in quantitative hedge fund business. Previously he was the Head of Strategy and Development of T. Rowe Price in China, China CEO of Legg Mason, and China CEO of Canyon Partners, where he was responsible for managing the whole China business of the global asset management firms. Mr. Li is a DBA at the program jointly offered by Peking University and the University of Hong Kong. He graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with an MBA and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. He has served as a graduate mentor at several universities, including Shanghai Jiaotong University, Fudan University and Renmin University of China. Mr. Li was awarded “Shanghai Overseas Financial Talent” by Shanghai Government and “Top 10 Overseas Elite” by Lujiazui Financial City. He served on the boards of several non-profit organizations, including the Wharton Shanghai Alumni Association, and is a board member and Vice President of CFA Shanghai Society. He holds various professional designations including CFA, CAIA, CQF, and FRM.
