The Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Association®, today announced that Jennifer Marcoullier has been named to the position of Director of Member Services. Under Marcoullier, the role of Director of Member Services will be expanded in response to the Association's rapid growth and subsequent need for additional programs, services and management.
"We hired Jennifer to spearhead an array of new programs, continuing education opportunities and member benefits," said Craig Asche, executive director of the CAIA Association. "Jennifer brings an excellent organizational and managerial background, and will help ensure that we provide the quality programming our members have come to expect. She also will help to design and implement new offerings that our rapidly expanding membership can benefit from."
Among other activities, Jennifer will be spearheading a number of new member-focused programs for 2006 including: organizing international roundtables scheduled in five worldwide locations; increasing continuing education opportunities; pursuing new member benefits; coordinating international CAIA Association chapter activities with the US office; helping to establish new chapters around the world; and maintaining and growing the online CAIASM member community.
"I took an immediate interest in the CAIA Association because of its leading role in providing certification for professionals in an industry that has gone largely without any sort of continuing education regimen," said Marcoullier. "The opportunity to join the Association as the need for its services grows in the face of greater regulation and scrutiny of the alternative investing universe is exciting, and I'm looking forward to working with CAIA members and staff to grow our outreach and capabilities."
Before joining the CAIA Association, Ms. Marcoullier served as project manager for Reed Business Information. Previously, she spent more than four years combined in managerial roles at IGN.com and Future Network USA. She received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida, and is currently working towards an MBA at University of Massachusetts Amherst.
