, CAIA, joined The Bank of New York Mellon (BNYM) as a Senior Derivatives Administrator. He is the designated supervisor of a new team that has been established to specifically service German-speaking clients, which Klaus explains, "shows the growing significance of alternative investments in the German-speaking market place."

According to Klaus, "Earning my CAIA designation in October 2009 was not only the starting point for me to learn about alternative investments, but has helped me to keep up with current developments in the AI sphere. My CAIA membership has provided me with the unique opportunity to travel to CAIA headquarters in Amherst, Mass. to meet other CAIA members from all over the world who share my ambition to be part of the alternative investment community."

Before joining BNYM, Klaus worked for Deutsche Bank’s Futures and Options department. Prior to BNYM, he was a financial planner with MLP AG and a stockbroker with Currency and Commodity Brokers in Hamburg.

Klaus earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of Applied Sciences in Frankfurt majoring in Quantitative Analysis and International Finance.
