Before joining Grandeur Peak Global Advisors, Mark was the Director of Public Markets Investments at Lehigh University, responsible for investing roughly 80% of the university's $1.2B investment portfolio. Prior to Lehigh University, he was the Deputy CIO at Utah Retirement Systems (URS). His additional industry experience includes roles as a fixed income portfolio manager at Sentry Insurance and as a credit analyst at Beneficial Life Insurance.
Mark has been a CAIA member since May 2007. Mark graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.A. in Music. He earned an MBA from Brigham Young University, and won the Stoddard Prize as the top finance student. In addition to his CAIA designation, he is a CFA charterholder.
