Mark Siddoway

"In 2003, when I made the jump from managing fixed income portfolios to more of an asset allocating role where I was analyzing managers, markets and investment strategies I realized that I needed to develop a different skill set and knowledge base. Studying for the CAIA exams with the curriculum provided by the CAIA program really enhanced my knowledge in a big way and earning the CAIA designation opened up a broader set of opportunities."

, CAIA, is the Head of Client Relations at Grandeur Peak Global Advisors. In his new position, he interfaces with clients to make sure their needs are met and they are getting transparency into the process and portfolio. He also assists with marketing and business development.

Before joining Grandeur Peak Global Advisors, Mark was the Director of Public Markets Investments at Lehigh University, responsible for investing roughly 80% of the university's $1.2B investment portfolio. Prior to Lehigh University, he was the Deputy CIO at Utah Retirement Systems (URS). His additional industry experience includes roles as a fixed income portfolio manager at Sentry Insurance and as a credit analyst at Beneficial Life Insurance.

Mark has been a CAIA member since May 2007. Mark graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.A. in Music. He earned an MBA from Brigham Young University, and won the Stoddard Prize as the top finance student. In addition to his CAIA designation, he is a CFA charterholder.
