Austin Mok has been actively involved in the activities of the CAIA Hong Kong chapter since 2009 after gaining his Charter in November 2008. Austin is currently a Managing Director and Senior Advisor at Bank Julius Baer based in Hong Kong, focusing on advising ultra high net worth clients based in Greater China on wealth planning, corporate advisory, financing and investment decisions for all asset classes.
Prior to joining Bank Julius Baer in 2018, Austin held position as Executive Director at UBS Wealth Management in Hong Kong, and Relationship Manager in the Conglomerates & Public Sector Entities Division, Global Banking & Markets at HSBC in Hong Kong, where he was mainly responsible for providing solutions to corporate clients' financing needs. Austin graduated with degrees in Master of Science in Wealth Management from the University of Rochester, New York, Master of Advanced Studies in Finance from the University of Berne, Switzerland, and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia, Canada, Sauder School of Business, majoring in Finance. He was an exchange student at Shanghai JiaoTung University, China. In addition to holding the CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) designation, Austin is a charterholder of CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), CPWP (Certified Private Wealth Professional), CWMA (Certified Wealth Management Advisor) and FRM (Financial Risk Manager).
