Ivy is a Consultant & Coach. She provides financial services companies with strategic advices and helps wealth management organizations build and transform their business. She also supports them in product knowledge training. As a coach, she works with advisors who are looking to improve their practice and investment process and demonstrate their value to clients.
Over her 25 years of career in the financial industry, Ivy has been in various roles at the major wealth management companies, such as ScotiaMcLeod, Investors Group Securities and RBC Dominion Securities etc. She has practical experience in discretionary portfolio management, practice restructuring, strategic planning, and business development. She has managed corporate projects, contributed to training materials and written questions for industry courses.
Leading CAIA Vancouver Chapter, Ivy builds strategies and brings relevant education to the community. She has graded CAIA L2 exams as a volunteer. She was previously on AIMA’s BC Committee and is on the Advisory Board of SFU’s Finance Club. She holds CFA, CAIA, CIPM and CFP designations and has passed the Chief Compliance Officers Qualifying Exam.
