Ivy Leung's career in the financial industry started in 1995. She is experienced in portfolio management and business practice management. She is currently a Consultant and Coach - working with Advisors and Portfolio Managers who are transitioning their practice to fee-based or discretionary platform, integrating business with partners or looking to improve their portfolio structure and management process.

Ivy has worked at RBC Dominion Securities for 14 years and at other major financial institutions, including MetLife, Investors Group Securities and ScotiaMcLeod. At RBC DS, she managed discretionary portfolios for high-net-worth clients and charity foundations; more recently she restructured an advisory business and managed it for three years; and subsequently created and took on a consulting & coaching role in British Columbia. She has also been in a business development role in charge of training, education and business planning for two regions.

Ivy graduated from Simon Fraser University with a BBA First Class Honours degree in Finance. In addition to her CAIA and CFA charters, she holds the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM), Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designations. Ivy is actively involved in industry education and university activities. She is on Alternative Investment Management Associations (AIMA)'s B.C. Committee and also on the SFU Finance Club's Advisory Board.
