Jainendra Shandilya is currently a Faculty Member at the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM). He teaches Quantitative Techniques, Economics, Fixed Income, Derivatives and Alternative Investments. He is also program Director of Post Graduate Diploma in Quantitative Finance (PGDQF), Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science (PGDDS) and Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Engineering and Risk Management (PGDFERM) at NISM.
Previously, he worked with Bank of India, a public sector bank, and also with Indian Securities and Commodities Market Regulator, Securities and Exchange Board of India(SEBI). During his stint in SEBI, he worked in various departments including Enquiry and Adjudication Department, Special Enforcement Cell, Investigation Department, Communication Department, Office of the Central Public Information Officer. He has published various articles that have been carried out by various newspapers, magazines and journal in India. He has represented SEBI before the Central Information Commission, the highest body for ensuring compliance under the Right to Information Act, 2005.
Jainendra has a natural flair for teaching, and, he has been a guest speaker at various national and international seminars on matters related to Finance and Capital Market. He had also been a visiting faculty at various colleges and institutes in Mumbai and Delhi. He holds Master Degree in Economics and is also CFA and CAIA charter holder and is active volunteer with the local CFA society in Mumbai and is also the Chapter Head of CAIA India.
