Megan Green earned the CAIA Charter in April 2007. In her role with CAIA Boston, she co-chairs the Educational Committee and is responsible for organizing content-oriented events. Megan is Vice President, head of business development for Global Risk Services (GRS) at State Street Corporation. In this role, she works with hedge fund managers, traditional asset managers and institutional investors including pensions, endowments and foundations that seek to better quantify and understand the risk characteristics of their portfolios. GRS offers position-based and return-based risk measurement, portfolio construction and data management services as well as hedge fund transparency services. Megan was responsible for risk and analytics business development for International Fund Services (IFS), State Street's hedge fund administration subsidiary, until the risk team was integrated into State Street's Investment Analytics unit in January 2009. Megan joined State Street in 1999, and since 2001 has held various positions related to State Street's overall pursuits in the alternative investment space including market research, trend analysis, competitive intelligence, and business strategy. Megan holds an A.B. in Art History from the University of Michigan. In addition to holding the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation, Megan is a founding member and Vice President of the CAIA Boston Chapter.
