Client Relations Associate

The Client Relations Associate will support the CAIA Association and be an excellent ambassador for the CAIA brand through ongoing communications (phone and email) to achieve the goals of maximizing candidate success, member acquisition and member retention as well as being able to assist with administrative program management. The successful CRA will have high energy, excellent interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication (written and oral), and phone skills. The successful CRA candidate will also exercise discretion regarding confidential information, be a collaborative, positive team player with the proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Key activities will include, but are not limited to:
• Customer service duties (phone and email) to support CAIA Candidates, CAIA Members and Fundamentals of Alternatives Investments participants including:
• Respond to all inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner
• Verify and correct all information on our systems
• Search and add customer/membership records
• Exam registration and scheduling support
• Support the administration and management of various CMR programs.
• Generate and distribute bi-weekly reports for CAIA Preparatory Providers during the exam registration period.
• Interface with CAIA Preparatory Provider to request updates for CAIA website such as logos and links.
• Learn CAIA’s Association Management System (AMS), and (future) Customer Relationship System (CRM).
• Work with other members of the team to assist with planning and execution of various phone, email and mail campaigns.
• Assist with creation, documentation, and implementation of CMR related standard operating procedures.
• Assist with other team projects by utilizing strong analytical skills to solve problems, post-campaign analysis.
• Assist with the development of new projects and initiatives.
• Process new and renewal membership records, as needed.
• Provide backup support for enrollments in Fundamentals of Alternative Investments
• Assist with maintaining Absorb Learning Management System records and databases, upon request.
• Other duties, as assigned.
• Complete the CAIA self-study, Fundamentals of Alternative Investments during the first year of employment.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across the CAIA organization.


• College degree
• Entry level position
• Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written),
• Proven attention to detail and accurate data entry and word processing skills
• Competency in Microsoft Office
• Proven ability to effectively complete tasks and manage time
• Excellent problem solving skills a must
• Professional demeanor and pleasant phone manner

• Familiarity with AMS and/or CRM systems a plus
• Previous customer service, relationship and/or account management, project management skills a plus
• Exposure to Associations and Finance Industry a plus
