Database Administrator & Analyst

The Database Administrator position is responsible for maintaining the performance, security, and integrity of the AMS (NetFORUM) database and integrations. CAIA’s Database Administrator will provide expert knowledge/advice to continue the maintenance and advancement of Data & Technology in all of CAIA’s business systems.

This position has a dual role as a Data Analyst. The Data Analyst will use their advanced knowledge of the database and technologies to analyze CAIA data, with a goal of identifying significant data trends seeking opportunities to improve CAIA’s data and reporting.


Database Management

  • Provide guidance to Application Designers/Developers
  • Ensure data security & integrity between databases
  • Monitor & maintain backups for disaster recovery
  • Monitor database performance to ensure fast and consistent delivery of data
  • Monitor & maintain user access & security
  • Analyze logging & remedy as required
  • Suggest & apply updates & patches when Required
  • Act as a key resource for database integrations
  • Minimize downtime/impact & provide alternative data sources if needed
  • Provide support to 3rd party consultants

Database Analyst

  • Provide both proactive & retroactive metric compilations
  • Develop & maintain data dictionary/definitions
  • Apply Data Analysis surrounding Customer profiling and behavior
  • Identify, isolate, and report to CAIA on any significant data trends
  • Provide and implement suggestions to improve data quality & consistency
  • Identify gaps/missing data points and provide suggestions to correct


  • Experience developing & maintaining Microsoft SQL Databases
  • Knowledge of data backup, recovery, and security
  • Knowledge of High Availability / Disaster Recovery options
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent reporting/data analysis skills
  • Ability to work both as a team & independently as required by the project
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Office Products
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge in CRM Databases a plus
  • BS Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
