A Message to the CAIA Community from Our CEO Bill Kelly

To our CAIA community:

As COVID-19 has grown to pandemic levels, I wanted to take the opportunity to reach out to our CAIA community to make you aware of the procedures we have in place to continue to serve you, as needed, during this uncertain time. First, I want to wish you well-being, courage, and strength in the difficult days ahead. CAIA Association has and will continue to put the safety and health of our employees and the broader CAIA community first.

With the March exam cycle in mid-stream and global closures announced daily by our exam administrator, Pearson VUE, the impact on our current Candidates has been most significant from the global business perspective. While we cannot mitigate the disappointment of a Candidate not being able to test after months of preparation, I assure you that our customer-facing teams stand ready to answer all questions and address any concerns, even as they work from their individual remote locations.

Additionally, for the safety of our Members, our local communities, and in the interest of just plain common sense, all our in-person events have been either canceled or postponed for the foreseeable future. In the meantime, at the core of our business is education—especially critical in these volatile times—and we have the capacity to bring much relevant content to the world through webcasts. We will look to increase that in such a way that is sensitive to the challenges so many are facing around the world.

Should you have any thoughts here regarding topics and/or would like to participate in any non-commercial way, please do reach out directly to me.

We assure you that our commitment to our community remains strong and focused and we will continue to serve you with the personal attention to which you are accustomed. As always, we welcome your communications in the form of emails, calls, or social media.

Stay well, and I send my personal best regards to you and your loved ones.

Bill
