NOTE: ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE RECEIVED NOTICE OF CANCELLATION FROM PEARSON VUE MAY RESCHEDULE HERE.
The test center you have chosen for your CAIA exam next month has reduced capacity or has closed and your existing appointment has been cancelled by Pearson VUE.
You now have two options for taking the exam in this testing cycle. Please consider your options carefully and reschedule your exam as soon as possible.
Opt for remote, online proctoring. Candidates who choose to test remotely will be able to control their environment from the standpoint of health and safety, but they will need a reliable internet connection and must follow strict identification, monitoring, and sequestration protocols. Watch the OnVUE video for more requirements. We strongly recommend you review the OnVUE system, test the system requirements here, and understand the physical requirements of the online proctored exam carefully prior to choosing this option to be sure it is right for you. Not doing so may result in an unsuccessful exam experience.
Following are the online proctored exam window dates: Level I: February 27 - March 5; Level II: March 13 - 19.
If you would like to choose the online proctored exam option, you must log in to your CAIA account here. Then, click the blue opt-in text link that appears on your profile page and complete the consent form. Your current appointment will be cancelled (if it hasn’t already) and you will be notified within 48-72 hours directly via email when you are able to schedule your OnVUE exam. Once you log into your CAIA account and select this option, you do NOT need to contact us. We will contact you once you can schedule your online proctored exam.
Choose an alternative Pearson VUE test center appointment and test in person. NOTE: While alternative appointments/centers may be available, due to the fluid nature of COVID-19, the possibility of a chosen center closing or further reducing capacity in the future remains high – resulting in another cancellation. Therefore, we suggest you seriously consider the above option for an online proctored exam.
Should you choose to move ahead with scheduling a physical seat, once your exam seat has been cancelled and you have rescheduled at a new test center, you will simply keep that appointment following Pearson VUE protocols. (To identify and reschedule at another center and time, please log in to your CAIA account here and go to schedule your exam.)
As you embark on your final weeks of study, please be assured that your health and safety are paramount to us. We will continue to update you with any additional information as it becomes available, and we welcome your questions at email@example.com. You may also find immediate answers here at the Online Proctoring FAQ page.
