"The CAIA has been and continues to be an essential resource on a daily basis. I literally looked at my materials this morning for ideas regarding asset allocation and the persistence of returns in different hedge fund strategies (De Souza and Gokan). The CAIA addresses the true day to day drivers of risk and return and gives the charter holder the tools to attack an investment problem from many different perspectives. This is important because one thing I have learned so far is that there are multiple solutions to problems in the investment space, and having the widest breadth of knowledge and flexibility possible is a core component of the fundamental law of active management and alpha generation."
