Who We Partner With
Becoming a CAIA Academic Partner begins with meeting these institutional requirements.
Your Institution
- Holds recognized accreditation or government authorization
- Offers degree coursework in investment management, private markets, or finance
- Has an active cohort of enrolled students in that program
- Names a designated faculty contact to own the relationship and nominate scholarship recipients
Your Faculty Contact
- Is employed by the institution and teaches at least six credit hours per year
- Nominates students for scholarships at their discretion
- Receives curriculum access, faculty scholarship eligibility, and invitations to CAIA faculty collaboration
- Serves as the single point of contact for the CAIA academic team

Three steps, and no application fee.
1. Express your interest: Our academic team will learn about your curriculum, students, and where the CAIA Charter may add value.
2. Confirm the partnership: Once eligibility is confirmed, CAIA provides curriculum access, and adds your institution to the Academic Partner network.
3. Put the partnership to work: Begin nominating students for scholarships and exploring opportunities for speakers.

Faculty Scholarship Guidelines
- When registering for the exam, the faculty member must be employed with an approved CAIA Academic Partner institution and teach a minimum of six credit hours per year.
- The CAIA Association shall award scholarships in its sole discretion. All decisions are final.
- Faculty scholarships are awarded for first-time exam fees only. They are not available for retake Candidates.
- Faculty scholarships may be used for the CFA Stacking Program if the Candidate is eligible.
Award Process: If you are an interested faculty member from one of CAIA’s Academic Partner institutions, please contact our team. Once the application is reviewed, a representative of the CAIA Association will contact you with instructions on how to complete registration at the discounted rate.
Students who are not awarded a scholarship remain eligible for a 10% discount on CAIA exam registration. Proved this AcademicPartner10 to your students.
