As such, the use of the CAIA marks is strictly tied to maintaining an active Membership. When Membership lapses, the right to display these marks is suspended.
If the CAIA marks are used improperly, CAIA Association may lose its rights to them, making it our collective responsibility to ensure that the CAIA designation remains a trusted symbol of excellence and ethical practice in the global financial landscape.

CAIA’s digital badges showcase your achievements in a modern, verifiable format. Each badge is linked to metadata detailing the skills and qualifications earned, making them ideal for LinkedIn, resumes, and professional bios. We partner with Credly to provide active CAIA Members with a digital badge to share online.

A digital badge is a web-enabled version of a Charter, certification, or learning outcome, which can be verified online in real time. Digital badges recognize a learning or professional development achievement. Since it is digital, it can be shared across the internet for maximum visibility and recognition.
A badge allows you to easily manage, share (online), and verify your CAIA designation. This includes real-time authentication of your credential and when you obtained it. Badges provide employers and peers concrete evidence of what you did to earn your credential, what you do to actively maintain your credential, and your skillset. Badges can be shared in your email signature, on your electronic resume, and on your LinkedIn, Facebook, and X profiles.
Credly also offers labor market insights, based on your skills so you can search and apply for job opportunities right through the Credly platform.
You will receive an email from Credly (admin@credly.com) with instructions for claiming your badge and setting up your account. If you do not receive the email, kindly check your spam/junk folders or contact member@caia.org for assistance.
To share your badge:
- Log into your account on www.Credly.com.
- Click on the profile icon at the top right-hand corner of the page and go to “Badge Management”.
- Click on the badge you would like to share.
- Scroll down and click “Share”.
- You will be brought to the “Share Badge” screen where you can find different tabs directing you to connect your social media accounts and share your badge.
- Once your social media account is connected, just click “Share” to share your digital badge.
