Welcome to CAIA India Chapter

With India’s rapid transformation into a leading economic superpower, the local alternative investment industry has steadily grown over the last decade. With an estimated size exceeding US$7 billion (as at year-end 2015) coupled with significant growth forecast, India presents a vibrant and flourishing alternative investment community.

CAIA’s India Chapter, initially represented in both Mumbai and Delhi and launched in December 2015, has been founded with a solid mission to address the four pillars of: 1) Knowledge – enable understanding of the diverse field of alternative investments via CAIA’s body of knowledge and informative educational events; 2) Visibility – raise awareness of the alternative investment industry within India’s financial services industry and the value CAIA Members bring; 3) Engagement – provide regular knowledge-sharing, career development and networking opportunities across the full alternatives investment industry for India’s community; and 4) Networking – communicate and position insight on global trends in the diverse alternative investment sector, showcase available employment opportunities and connect solidly India’s CAIA members into CAIA’s global member community.
