Markets move fast. Curriculum should move deliberately.
Investment trends don’t arrive neatly once a year. They emerge, overlap, and evolve continuously.
The CAIA Global Curriculum Committee exists to track those shifts as they happen, so when the CAIA curriculum is updated annually, it reflects a full year of informed, deliberate insight.
Not reactive changes. Well-vetted ones.
Continuous review. Intentional updates.
The Committee meets quarterly to assess how the investment landscape is evolving and to support the ongoing development of the CAIA curriculum.
Their role is to:
- Reviewing the full Candidate Body of Knowledge over a three-year cycle
- Identifying emerging trends, skills, and knowledge areas to ensure globally relevant coverage
- Providing feedback on proposed curriculum changes and enhancements
These insights are then incorporated into the annual curriculum update cycle, ensuring changes are both timely and thoughtfully integrated.
Committee Composition
The Committee includes representation from across all global regions. Each will serve a three-year term, contributing practitioner-level insight from global markets to challenge, refine, and strengthen what the industry learns next.
Annual Curriculum Updates
The CAIA curriculum is updated annually to reflect evolving market practices and industry expert insight.
