CAIA Member Volunteer Opportunities

Help Shape What Comes Next

The strength of the CAIA community comes from the people who choose to be a part of it.

Every Chapter event, new resource, and conversation that moves the profession forward begins with Members lending their expertise. As a CAIA volunteer, you can help shape the future of the profession.

Contributors Wanted. Explore the opportunities below.

Chapter Activities

Help bring your local CAIA community to life. Chapter Activity Volunteers support events, connect Members, and contribute to the experiences that strengthen the local presence across the industry.

Chapter Executive Leader

Provide leadership that helps your local CAIA Chapter thrive. Chapter Executive Leaders work with fellow volunteers and CAIA staff to shape your local Chapter’s strategy, guide programming, and strengthen Member engagement.

Promote CAIA at Work

The value of a professional designation increases with the growth of the community. Expand the reach of CAIA by introducing us to your HR, talent, or learning teams, hosting a CAIA Chapter event at your organization, or posting opportunities on the CAIA Career Center. Every new connection helps more professionals discover CAIA while strengthening the global network you’re already part of.

Represent CAIA on Campus

Introduce the next generation of investment professionals to private markets. Represent CAIA at your alma mater or local university by speaking in a classroom, participating in a career panel, connecting us with faculty, or supporting a campus event to help students better understand the opportunities available in alternatives and the value of the CAIA Charter.

Contribute to the Carried Interest Blog

Have data, perspective, or a big idea that can raise the bar for alternatives? Pitch a post, record a quick take, or propose a webcast. If it challenges assumptions and advances objectivity, we want to share it.

Exam Grading

Join your peers as a subject matter expert in the bi-annual grading of CAIA Candidate responses for the essay component of the Level II exam.

Your time. Well spent.

As opportunities come up that align with your interests, we’ll be in touch.
