Support For Your Exam Experience
At CAIA, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to pursue the CAIA Charter. We offer testing accommodations to support diverse needs and ensure access to Candidates who may require special arrangements.
In partnership with the CAIA Association, our testing provider, Prometric, offers tailored accommodations to Candidates with documented needs to optimize their exam experience.
Important Information Regarding Testing Accommodations
Candidates must first register for the CAIA exam. Please do not schedule your exam appointment until your accommodations request has been processed.
Candidates must submit the request no later than six weeks prior to the testing window.
Testing Accommodations will not be carried over to future exam windows and will need to be resubmitted as needed.
Items listed on Prometric’s Pre-Approved Personal Items list do not require a testing accommodation request to be allowed in the testing area.
Submitting a Test Center Accommodation
In order to request one of Prometric’s available accommodations, Candidates must submit the following:
*A Professional Evaluation Form is required from the physician(s) treating the condition for which you are requesting testing accommodations and should be attached within the Testing Accommodations Request Form.
All testing accommodations, once approved by the CAIA Association, will be forwarded to Prometric. When the accommodation(s) have been confirmed and added in the Prometric system, CAIA will work with the Candidate to schedule the exam appointment with approved accommodation(s).
