CAIA exams are offered in over 400 test centers around the world.
You are responsible for scheduling your exam appointment by the published deadline for your exam window. Appointments are first-come, first-served and appointment availability will vary by test center.

Candidates may reschedule their exam at no cost if done 30 days or more before their scheduled exam window. A non-refundable US$50 scheduling change fee is applied for changes made between 29 to 5 days in advance of the scheduled exam window. See our Scheduling page for more details.
Any appointment rescheduling must be made by the published deadline. If you fail to schedule your appointment or fail to sit for the exam, your exam fees are non-refundable, non-deferrable, and non-transferable.
CAIAA recommends that you arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.
If you arrive late for your exam appointment, you may be refused admission. If you are refused admission, your exam fees are non-refundable, and non-transferable.
Test center personnel will perform security inspections during the check-in process and prior to re-entry into the testing room after a break. This includes but is not limited to inspection of personal belongings, clothing, and eyeglasses, as well as the use of a metal detector wand to ensure you are not carrying electronic devices into the testing room. Test centers are also monitored by CCTV.
If there is a disruption in your exam (e.g. technical or environmental) but you are able to continue testing, you must stay at the location. If you decide to leave the test center, CAIAA will not approve rescheduling of your exam appointment or deferral of your exam registration.
