CAIA Association Policies and Procedures

Our policies and procedures protect the integrity of the CAIAA Program, ensuring the exam process is fair for Candidates. It is your responsibility to read and understand all policies set forth by CAIA Association. During the registration process, all Candidates are required to agree to abide by the policies listed below, as they are updated from time to time. 

Candidates

       CAIAA Examination - Exam Irregularities and Score Review  
Remedies available to Candidates for errors in the processing, preparation, handling, or scoring of exams.  

       CAIAA Examination - Admission and Appointment Policy
All Candidates must follow these instructions, or you will not be admitted into the testing center. 

       CAIAA Examination - Calculator Policy 
Only one (1) calculator model is authorized for use during CAIA exams. 

       CAIAA Examination – Emergency Deferral
For registered Candidates who cannot sit for their scheduled exam and want to move to a new exam window. 

      CAIAA Examination - Exam Day Disruptions or Exam Compromise
If there is a disruption during your exam experience. 

       CAIAA Examination - Identification Policy 
CAIA Association requires that every CAIA Candidate brings a valid and approved form of identification and a printed copy of the exam confirmation to their exam appointment. Learn what to do if you are unable to meet any of these requirements.

       CAIAA Examination - Misconduct and Confidentiality Violations 
If you engage in any misconduct during the CAIA exam, you may be dismissed from the test center and subject to other penalties. Read all Misconduct and Rules Violations.   

       CAIAA Examination - Non-Disclosure Agreement 
CAIA Candidates must agree to the Nondisclosure Agreement before they will be allowed to begin an exam.

General

       OFAC Compliance Policy 
CAIA Association complies with The Office of Foreign Asset Control ("OFAC") Policy and is unable to provide services to individuals who live in countries subject to certain sanctions. 

       CAIAA Antitrust Policy
This law aims to promote fair competition and prevent unfair business practices that could harm consumers. 

       Intellectual Property Policy and use of the CAIA Marks
The CAIA marks must be displayed following these guidelines established by the CAIA Association. 

 

Policy Changes 
The CAIA Association may change its conditions, requirements, policies, and procedures governing the CAIA Program and CAIA Membership from time to time. Candidates and Members are required to adhere to the revised conditions, requirements, policies, and procedures, which will be published on this website.
