Headshot of Gunther Jost

"Getting the CAIA designation 10 years ago has added great value to my career. Not only has it equipped me with a very solid technical knowledge in Alternative Investments, it has also allowed me to become a more credible sparring partner for clients and colleagues. In addition, I have had the opportunity to meet many smart and passionate industry professionals through the network of CAIA members and Chapter Executives. As alternative investments have become more important in investor portfolios, the value of the CAIA designation has further increased. This can be felt on the ground in Hong Kong where the growing membership base has helped to attract more people to our Chapter events."

Gunther Jost is currently the Head of the CAIA Hong Kong Chapter. He has been active as CAIA volunteer since 2005 when he got involved in pre-chapter activities in Germany. After moving to Hong Kong, he became one of the co-founders of the Hong Kong Chapter in 2009.

Gunther has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry in Europe and Asia with focus on advising both institutional and private investors on Alternative Investments.
