For Immediate Release
AMHERST, MA — Striving to offer more investment professionals in Europe access to alternative investment education, the CAIA Association is pleased to announce the opening of a certified test center in Moscow, Russia. Upon registration for the CAIA Level 1 or Level 2 exam, beginning with those to be offered in March 2015, individuals located in this region may schedule an appointment to take their exam at this location.
As a global organization, CAIA Association’s mission is to engage financial professionals in pursuit of alternative investment education, providing access to conveniently located testing centers. The CAIA exams are administered via Pearson VUE at proctored testing centers around the world. The Moscow testing center is located in the American Center for Education and Testing (ACET) in conjunction with Pearson. Prior to the Moscow location’s availability, CAIA exam candidates in the region would have travelled to the nearest testing center located in Espoo, Finland.
The CAIA Charter program is a rigorous, self-directed education program for finance professionals seeking deep knowledge and expertise in alternative investing, including hedge funds, private equity, structured products, commodities, and real assets. The CAIA designation, which is granted upon successfully passing two levels of exams and meeting membership requirements, is valued globally by top employers and recognized as the highest standard of achievement in alternative investment education.
"The opening of this new test center in Moscow marks an important milestone for the CAIA Association and will expand the organization’s presence in the region,” said William Kelly, CEO of CAIA. “We are pleased to provide our candidates with the most convenient access to in-depth education in the growing number of alternative asset classes, giving them a competitive advantage in the growing field of alternative investing."
Interested candidates may register for the Level 1 or 2 CAIA exams online at http://www.CAIA.org/registration and may then schedule their test in the Moscow center. Early registration opened on October 1, 2014 with a reduced fee until November 12, 2014. Registration closes for the March, 2015 exams on February 4, 2015.
