Hong Kong SAR – December 3, 2025. The Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Association is pleased to announce a new chapter in its global Academic Partnership Program with the addition of the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS)—a respected institution known for applied learning and a strong focus on finance education—as its latest academic partner.

This agreement builds on a relationship that began in 2017 when CAIA’s Fundamentals of Alternative Investments (FAI) Program was first incorporated into SUSS’s Bachelor of Science in Finance curriculum. With this newly formalized Academic Partnership, SUSS joins more than 85 institutions worldwide that share CAIA’s commitment to advancing knowledge in alternative investments and responsible capital stewardship.

“SUSS has been a valued curriculum partner for several years, and we’re proud to now formally welcome them into our Academic Partnership Program,” said Nick Pollard, Managing Director, APAC, CAIA Association. “Singapore plays a critical role in the global investment landscape, and institutions like SUSS are preparing future professionals to lead in a world where alternative investments are increasingly central to capital allocation.”

Through this partnership, students and faculty at SUSS will gain enhanced access to CAIA’s global educational ecosystem—including exclusive research, professional development content, and pathways to the CAIA Charter, the globally recognized designation in alternative investments.

“This collaboration is about deepening access to industry-relevant education,” said Steven Novakovic, CAIA, CFA, Managing Director, Educational Programs, CAIA Association. “The leadership at SUSS is forward-thinking and committed to ensuring students graduate with both the technical knowledge and ethical grounding required to navigate today’s evolving financial markets.”

The partnership also provides SUSS students with opportunities to engage with the global CAIA community, apply for academic scholarships, and participate in exclusive events that connect academia with practice. For SUSS, this further strengthens its offering in finance

The addition of SUSS as a partner reinforces CAIA’s commitment to Southeast Asia and the next generation of investment leaders.
