Sponsored by PAAMCO, Scholars Program is now in its seventh year offering ten scholarships to extraordinary woman who intend to take the Level I CAIA exam in September 2017 AMHERST, MASS. (February 6, 2017) – The CAIA Foundation and 100 Women in Finance today announced the opening of registration for the 2017 100 Women in Finance/CAIA Scholars program. Ten scholarships will be awarded to extraordinary women who intend to take the Level I CAIA exam this fall, offered by the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Association, a global leader in alternative investment education. Applicants must meet a number of important criteria, including having a minimum of one year of professional experience in the alternative investments industry, plans to pursue a career in alternative investment management with a specific focus on portfolio management, full membership in 100 Women in Finance, a commitment to registering for the Level I CAIA exam in September 2017 and more. The ten winners will receive a scholarship package that will include the waiver of enrollment fees and first-time registration fees for CAIA’s Level I and Level II exams, a set of CAIA’s Knowledge Series textbooks, a waiver of the CAIA membership fee for one year, and access to additional educational and test preparation resources. Now in its seventh year, the 100 Women in Finance/CAIA Scholars program has recognized women from around the world, with the 2016 class of scholarship recipients hailing from the U.S., Hong Kong, the UK and Switzerland. This year’s winners will be notified in mid-May.
