Singapore University of Social Sciences Incorporates Alternative Investment Training into Finance Degree Course

CAIA Association’s Fundamentals of Alternative Investments programme is now a credited unit of Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS)’s Bachelor of Science in Finance degree programme. AMHERST, MASS. (April 3, 2017) – Reflecting the growing importance of the US$8tn alternative investment sector to modern investment techniques, the BSc Finance Programme at SUSS’s School of Business has included a full credit course in alternative investment. Covering private equity, real estate, structured products, hedge funds, as well as due diligence and portfolio construction, course participants will take lessons from the CAIA Association’s online Fundamentals of Alternative Investments (“FAI”) programme. The FAI programme provides participants with functional knowledge of the alternative investment universe, either as part of a wider understanding of the world of investment or as a prelude to deeper study.
