CAIA Association Congratulates Three New “100 Women in Hedge Funds/ CAIA Scholars” Charter Holders

Announcements

In keeping with their collaborative mission of enhancing the alternative investments industry through educational programming and professional leverage, 100 Women in Hedge Funds (100WHF), Pacific Alternative Asset Management Company, LLC (PAAMCO), and the CAIA Foundation are pleased to congratulate three of this year’s 100WHF/CAIA Scholarship winners on becoming CAIA Charter members.

Nili Gilbert of Matarin Capital; Roselin Qu of CITIC Private Equity Funds; and Lisa Scheible of AlphaMundi Group recently achieved success on Levels I and II of the CAIA exam and have been distinguished with the CAIA designation.  Each of the women was a 2014 recipient of the prestigious scholarship which covers the enrollment, fees, and a one-year CAIA membership valued at more than $5,000.

Nili Gilbert, CAIA

“The CAIA program was particularly valuable for me because, while my firm, Matarin Capital, focuses exclusively on hedge funds within the alternative investment space, many of our clients own broadly diversified alternatives portfolios.  It will be a key benefit to be able to evaluate the solutions which Matarin is offering in the context of clients’ overall opportunity sets and objectives.” – Nili Gilbert, CAIA

Lisa Scheible, CAIA

“The CAIA curriculum formalized the education experience that I had at the Kaiser Family Foundation.  I hope to apply some of the theory to practice in my current position structuring investments for social businesses in Africa and helping build a diversified portfolio for AlphaMundi.” – Lisa Scheible, CAIA

Roselin Qu, CAIA

“The CAIA curriculum is well designed and helped to expand my knowledge of alternative investments. CAIA also presents many valuable resources including professional networking opportunities, the CAIA Job Board, and industry news. I would highly recommend it.” – Roselin Qu, CAIA
