Charles Zhang has tremendous experience and expertise in quantitative research, economic policy analysis and credit portfolio management. Currently, Charles serves as a Sr Quantitative Analyst at Navy Federal, covering the full life cycle from origination/underwriting to prepayment management of the Real Estate Lending Portfolio and the Asset-Backed Lending Portfolio. Prior to Navy Federal, Charles was an associate portfolio manager managing indexed portfolios at Morgan Stanley Investment Management.

Millissa S. Allen, CAIA, Chapter Executive

Millissa S. Allen is a Director of Investor Relations at Thorofare Capital. Millissa brings 19 years’ experience in the asset management business, most of which has focused on alternative investments. Prior to Thorofare, Millissa worked at RIA Channel as the Managing Director of Client Services. Prior to RIA Channel, Millissa was part of the senior leadership at the CAIA Association. Prior to that, Millissa served as Director of Sales Operation at Hatteras Funds.

Marianne Couot joined AXA Investment Managers in 2023, in the Alternatives and private assets business line. She as spent most of her career in London in the area of asset management for US, UK, Swiss and European employers and has over 20+ years of industry experience. She has filled in different roles in Marketing, Investment Proposals and is currently in AXA IM Alts Client Group.

Brian Digney, CAIA, Chapter Executive

Brian Digney joined the SBAI in March 2023 in the role of Research and Content Director. He is responsible for content development and co-ordination of the ongoing and future working groups on a wide variety of topics, including valuation of private assets, ESG & carbon footprinting, governance, insurance linked strategies, digital assets, asset management regulation and compliance as well as new topics to be determined in the future.
