John L. Bowman, CFA

John was appointed CEO for the CAIA Association in January 2025. He has devoted over 25 years to the asset management industry to recover the narrative of the value that the investment profession brings to society. He is a staunch public advocate for market integrity, long-termism, investor outcomes, diversity, human dignity and educational standards, as necessary ingredients to building a sustainable and healthy profession.

Dan Bienvenue, CFA, CAIA

Dan Bienvenue is a Managing Director at General Atlantic on the Capital Solutions team and focuses on the firm's solutions for pensions. Before joining General Atlantic in 2025, Dan served in several leadership roles at the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), including interim CIO on two occasions and Deputy CIO on a permanent basis. He was at CalPERS for nearly 21 years. Prior to that, his experience includes being a Principal and Senior Portfolio Manager for Barclays Global Investors (BGI) and being in the analyst program at JPMorgan out of undergrad.

Jayne Bok, CFA, CAIA

Jayne Bok is the Head of Investments, Asia, based in Hong Kong. She is responsible for leading WTW’s Investments business strategy, client delivery and business development across Asia. Jayne leads a diverse regional team to help clients meet their goals and achieve better outcomes through a flexible range of delivery models – from providing proprietary tools, offering advisory services, through to assisting clients with implementation via delegated solutions. She has more than 23 years of industry and leadership experience.

William Ma, CAIA, CFA

Mr. William Ma, CAIA, CFA, with over 18 years of industry experience, is the Chief Investment Officer and founder of GROW Investment Group, a China based multi strategy multi asset management company, and launched the first multi strategy hedge fund in China.  Previously, Mr. Ma was the Chief Investment Officer of Noah Holdings, one of the largest wealth management company in China, as well we the Chief Investment Officer of Gopher Asset Management, the asset management arm of Noah.

Elizabeth Burton, CAIA

Elizabeth Burton is the Managing Director and Client Investment Strategist, Goldman Sachs. Previously Elizabeth was Chief Investment Officer of the Employees’ Retirement System of the State of Hawaii (“HIERS”), where she oversaw $19 billion in pension fund assets. Ms. Burton is also on the Board of Directors of the Chartered Alternative Investment Association (CAIA). Prior to joining HIERS, Ms. Burton served as Managing Director of the Quantitative Strategies Group at the Maryland State Retirement Agency. In this role, Ms.

Graeme Griffiths, CAIA

Graeme is a pension fund trustee and non-executive director. In addition to serving on the CAIA board, he is a trustee and investment committee chair of the Aegon Master Trust, a leading UK multi-employer DC pension scheme.  He also serves on the finance and investment committees of the Royal College of Surgeons, the Royal Historical Society and the Natasha Allergy Research Foundation.

Valerie J. Sill, CFA, CAIA is president and CEO of DuPont Capital Management (DCM) and serves as DCM's chief investment officer.
