Graeme Griffiths, CAIA

Trustee and Investment Committee Chair, Aegon Master Trust

Graeme is a pension fund trustee and non-executive director. In addition to serving on the CAIA board, he is a trustee and investment committee chair of the Aegon Master Trust, a leading UK multi-employer DC pension scheme.  He also serves on the finance and investment committees of the Royal College of Surgeons, the Royal Historical Society and the Natasha Allergy Research Foundation.

Over the course of a 40-year career in financial services, Graeme has worked in a variety of roles in asset management, corporate finance and responsible investment.  Most recently, he was chief operating offer of the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), a UN-backed sustainability initiative supported by over 5000 investor signatories. Before the PRI, he held senior investment roles with AB Bernstein and Vontobel Asset Management, in their respective value and quality growth equities teams. He was previously a partner and head of European M&A at KPMG Corporate Finance and a senior member of the M&A team at J.P. Morgan, where he worked for 16 years in London, Hong Kong and Tokyo. 

Graeme holds a BSc (Econ.) from the London School of Economics and an MSc (Sloan Fellowship) with distinction from London Business School. CAIA Charterholder.
