Erik Lehr, CAIA, Chapter Executive

Erik Lehr, CFA, CAIA, is the Director of Research at Empirical Wealth Management. He manages the firm’s research and trading strategies and works with clients to develop and manage their investment portfolios. He graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor in Economics and Mathematics, and also earned a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Oregon and a Master of Science in Computational Finance and Risk Management from the University of Washington.

Lisa Cavallari, CAIA, Chapter Executive

Lisa A. Cavallari, CAIA, FRM is a director of fixed income derivatives and commodities for Russell Investments. Prior to Russell, Lisa spent over six years as a portfolio manager and trader on the structured products desk at Barclays Global Investors (now BlackRock). Prior roles involved managing derivative overlays for large pension plans, creating a hedge fund at ZGI Group and a year as a researcher at Ibbotson Associates. She holds Series 24, 7 and 63 licenses and is both a CAIA and FRM charter holder. Lisa earned a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University and an M.B.A.

Seth Stroback, CAIA, Chapter Executive

Seth joined the family office in 2004. Seth was instrumentally involved in the development of the alternative asset program and currently participates in all stages of the due diligence process, from quantitative and qualitative analysis, to manager interviews, to portfolio construction, and ongoing portfolio monitoring. Seth is a liaison between the family office and its current underlying managers, and actively sources new hedge fund and private equity fund investment opportunities.

Sean Gill, Planning Committee

Sean joined NEPC in March 2000, with his investment experience beginning in 1998. Sean oversees our alternative assets group and works with all aspects relating to the alternative asset investment class. He works with all types of clients in designing alternative asset class investment policy guidelines, portfolio structuring, plan implementation, manager selection, and performance measurement and monitoring. Sean is a member of the firm’s Alternative Asset Investment, Partners Research and Partners Executive Committees. Prior to joining NEPC, Sean worked as an associate at M.B.G.
