Akimitsu Izaki is a senior director within the investor relations team at Capula Investment Japan Limited. Prior to joining Capula in June 2023, Akimitsu worked at PIMCO Japan Ltd from May 2014 where he was a senior vice president for nine years and was responsible for Japanese public and private pension clients, corporate treasuries and universities, as well as product coverage and business development for prospective clients. Preceding this role, from April 2006 to April 2014, Akimitsu was within the sales team at Mizuho Securities Ltd. where he focused on fixed income sales for Japanese financial institutions including banks, insurance companies, and Japanese local finance institutions.
