Asuka Maeda is Director, Portfolio Solutions, Willis Towers Watson. Previously she was Associate Director at the Specialist Portfolio Solutions team at WTW (formally known as Willis Towers Watson). She helps Japanese institutional investors build portfolios that seek to deliver differentiated investment outcomes, both from a return and risk perspective.
Previously, she spearheaded Japanese Business Development/Manager Research projects at a boutique fund placement agency in London by utilising her international background and industry network. Until September 2015, she had worked for Russell Investments in Tokyo as a Senior Analyst to cover various HFs products for Japanese pension funds.
She has a BA and MSc in Agriculture from the University of Tokyo. She also completed an MSc programme in Wealth Management in Luxembourg.
