Bennett has almost a decade of Private Equity & Venture Capital, Investment Banking and Equity Research experience across the Technology, Financial Services, Consumer, Healthcare and F&B sectors. He has executed over ~15 transactions with a combined value of more than ~US$400million. Bennett is currently an Investment Director with Velocity Ventures specializing in South East Asia growth equity investments.
Prior to joining Velocity Ventures, Bennett was an Investment Director with Caber Partners where he evaluated and executed Private Equity investment opportunities in the Financial Services and Technology sectors in Asia. Before Caber Partners, he was an Investment Associate at Golden Equator Capital, a mid-market Private Equity and Venture Capital firm where he focused on growth equity investments in a wide range of industries in Southeast Asia. He has also worked in UOB and BNP Paribas in Equity Research and Investment Banking roles.
Bennett holds a B.A. in Economics from the National University of Singapore and is a graduate of the University of Oxford, Saïd Business School Fintech Programme. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations. Bennett currently also sits on the CFA Singapore Career Development Committee.
