His work blends rigorous fund-level assessment with deal-by-deal evaluation, enabling a nuanced view of underwriting quality, risk controls, portfolio construction, and operational resilience.
Previously, Mr. Watson was a Due Diligence Analyst at Kestra Financial, where he evaluated complex investment products and supported advisors with portfolio allocation and fund selection within the private markets. He began his career at Capital Group | American Funds, honing a sophisticated ability to translate intricate investment frameworks into actionable guidance for financial professionals.
Born in Jamaica, Mr. Watson spent his formative years there and in Canada before relocating to the United States. He holds a BBA in International Business and International Relations from Florida International University and is a CFA and CAIA Charterholder.
