Hudson is Head of Business Operations for blackx – an Asia focused music intellectual property investment management firm launched in 2022. Prior to blackx, Hudson was Deputy General Manager and Head of Corporate and E-Solution Sales and for Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation overseeing Asia Pacific foreign exchange sales and electronic foreign exchange trading. He also led the derivatives group covering Asia Pacific investment banking in energy and natural resources project finance, shipping finance, aviation finance, sponsor finance, private equity and credit funds. Earlier in his banking career, Hudson was with the markets divisions of Standard Chartered Bank and Citibank in Singapore, the United Arab Emirates and Taiwan.
Hudson graduated with BA in Economics and European Studies, National University of Singapore and MCom in Funds Management, University of New South Wales. In addition to holding the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Energy Risk Professional (ERP), Financial Data Professional (FDP) and Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) certified.
