Hussam Al Suwailem brings mixture of disciplines as his journey began when he completed his electrical
engineering degree from which he developed his IT acumen. He then migrated to start his career as a
corporate banker where he had the chance to work for three of the major banks in KSA. After having had
an exposure to debt markets, Hussam ventured to obtain a master`s degree in Applied Finance because
of which he gained interest in the field of M&A and Equity markets. Hussam`s curiosity led him to come
across the FDP designation, which he obtained in year 2019, and then the CAIA designation in year
2021. Hussam has been using the experiences he developed as an ex-credit portfolio manager, ex-M&A
analyst, and the most recently alternative data and alternative investment analyst to optimize resource
allocation for one of the leading publicly listed reinsurance companies in KSA.
