Jamil McNeal is a member of True North Advisors’ investment team and investment committee working as a Director of Investments - Private Markets, where he helps manage investments on the firm’s private and alternatives investment platform, Western Alternative Strategies. He has worked in the investment industry for many years, including at notable firms such as Guidestone Capital Management, JPMorgan, and Wells Fargo and has experience as an analyst and investing broadly across private and alternative markets. Jamil currently serves as a member of the Dallas Fire and Police Pension Investment Advisory Committee (IAC).
Born in Chicago, Jamil, has a B.A. in American Government from the University of Virginia, an MBA (Finance concentration) from Keller Business School of Management, and is a CFA, CAIA, and CDDA Charterholder.
