With over 16 years of experience in the financial services industry with a professional background covering fund administration, financial control and operations, Joel is Head of Legal Operations at Ocorian Law (Cayman) Limited where he has oversight for the finances and operations of the law firm in the Cayman Islands.
Joel has a Master’s in Business Administration in Finance, Accounting and Entrepreneurship and holds many relevant qualifications in finance, management, compliance and governance. He is a qualified accountant (CPA), has attained Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charter and has obtained the Accredited Director (Acc. Dir.) qualification from the Chartered Governance Institute.
In his spare time, Joel is committed to ongoing professional development, is an avid trader of the markets and sits on the board of various public sector entities including the Trade & Business Licensing Board.
