Katy Huang is a Director and Client Investment Advisor at Deutsche Bank, where she advises the most influential Saudi individuals on their investment and cashflow needs. She plays a critical role in structuring some of the most challenging cases including local stock lending and lifestyle investments. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank in 2010, Ms. Huang was a board member, portfolio manager, and member of investment committee of Avendis Investment Management. She launched and managed the first SIV-Lite and grew the investment vehicle to $2 billion.

Ms. Huang had joined Avendis in 2004 following 10 years of investment management experience at AllianceBernstein in New York, where she was individually responsible for portfolio management of $6.5 billion of assets within the Fixed Income Structured Assets Strategies team. At AllianceBernstein, she ran the ABS, MBS, CMO and short-term books of business and was responsible for providing recommendations, analysis, and trading of these securities for inclusion in portfolios managed by the fixed income division.

Ms. Huang holds a Bachelor degree in Biology and Business Administration from Boston University and is a CAIA charterholder. She was Chair of the 100 Women in Hedge Funds Geneva Education Committee from 2009 through 2013 and remains an active contributor to both 100 Women in Hedge Funds Geneva Education and Geneva Philanthropy Committees.
