Mark Robillard is vice president - research analyst, alternatives within Fidelity Institutional Wealth Adviser (FIWA), the registered investment advisor at Fidelity Institutional® (FI). Fidelity Institutional is a division of Fidelity Investments that offers investment insights, strategies, and solutions, as well as trading services to a wide range of wealth management firms and institutional investors. Fidelity Investments is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing, and other financial products and services to institutions, financial intermediaries, and individuals.
In this role, he is responsible for FIWA’s open architecture due diligence research on alternative investment strategies. The FIWA investment team’s research is an input to both internal and external stakeholders and Fidelity’s broader thought leadership efforts.
Mr. Robillard previously served as vice president, Investment Solutions and Asset Allocation, for Fidelity Family Office Services. In this role he was responsible for ensuring the Fidelity Family Office Services investment offering was comprehensive, differentiated, and ultimately helped solve the unique investment problems that family offices face across their entire portfolio. He also headed Fidelity Family Office Services’ investment committee.
Prior to his time at Fidelity Family Office Services, Mr. Robillard spent eight years working at Fidelity Capital Markets, the institutional trading arm of Fidelity Investments, which provides trading products and services to a wide array of clients, including buy-side institutions and hedge funds. He held roles in research, trading, and investment banking on the fixed income team.
Mr. Robillard received his master of science in management degree and bachelor of science in management degree from Bridgewater State University. He is a CFA® Charterholder, a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society, a CAIA® Charterholder, a Financial Risk Manager – Certified by the Global Association of Risk Professionals, and he holds FINRA Series 7, 57, and 63 licenses.
