Masashi advises financial institutions and corporations on investments, financing, and products. He previously worked at Chuo Tochi, a Tokyo-based family office specializing in real estate. Before joining Chuo Tochi, Masashi was a founding member of Exelion Capital Management, a global macro investment management firm based in Singapore.
Earlier in his career, Masashi worked in the Foreign Exchange department at Merrill Lynch Tokyo and New York. He also held various positions in Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities at Goldman Sachs in London and Tokyo. Masashi began his career at Bankers Trust in Tokyo.
Masashi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Duke University and a Master of Science degree in Applied Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park. He is a CAIA, CFA, and FDP charterholder and serves on CFA Korea Society Candidate Committee.
