Michael Yeung, CAIA, is a senior credit analyst for Russell Investments in Seattle, WA where he supports the short-term investments and derivatives trading teams. In this capacity, Michael is responsible for the credit selection, analysis and monitoring components of the investment process as well as overseeing Russell’s counterparty exposures.
Before joining Russell in 2007, Michael was a senior investment analyst for GE Asset Management (now Genworth Financial), where he underwrote private placement debt transactions for insurance company accounts.
Prior roles include leading GE Asset Management’s Quality program in Seattle. As well as managing a fleet of rail equipment for GE Capital.
Michael earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester and an M.B.A. in Finance and Management Strategy from Northwestern University.
