Patrick is a Senior Manager in the Asset and Wealth Management Regulatory Advisory department in PwC Ireland. Patrick specialises in Asset and Wealth Management regulation and leads the product life cycle and corporate governance service offerings. Patrick is a qualified chartered alternative investment analyst (CAIA), having 13 years professional experience.
Prior to joining PwC, Patrick worked for a third party management company and acted as a Designated Person for funds with responsibility for a number of management functions.

- Led and project managed product life cycle projects including the set up and authorisation of management companies, investment firms and fund service providers
- Led reviews of corporate governance arrangements of funds/management companies, in context of CP86, CBI expectations and industry best practice
- Led internal audit reviews of management companies, covering all managerial functions and delegate oversight
- Led regulatory due diligence projects for buy side asset management business
- Assistance to EU management companies with the establishment of branches in Ireland
- Provision of regulatory advice to clients on regulatory substance requirements, operating models and regulatory capital requirements
- Provision of tailored regulatory training session to Directors and senior management of asset management firms.
