Rodrigo Manzur Lannefranque, CAIA is an independent advisor and consultant who provides services related to alternative and traditional investments, including the regulatory frameworks that apply to institutional investors in Latam. Mr. Manzur is also a ILPA external Staff Member for executive education in Latam. In addition, he created an alternative investment class at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, and he is member of closed end funds’ surveillance committees which invest in Private Assets.
Previously, he spent 10 years working for two big private pension plans in Chile, where he was head of alternative investment and head of fund selection. Prior to those positions, Mr. Manzur was investment analyst at Celfin Capital and consultant at the Interamerican Development Bank in Washington D.C.
Mr. Manzur holds a MSc in Financial Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and an MBA from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, with an exchange at the Wharton School. He earned a BA degree in Economics from Universidad Nacional de Cuyo.
